The Final Deliverance Service of Robert

Last Sunday Dharma Service, 
We had the Final Deliverance Service for Robert William Clay, Hojin and Jiyeon's Father. 

Dharma hall was cleaned and prepared from the early morning of the day to do the best.

Robert was introduced to Won-Buddhism when his wife Elizabeth passed away last year. 
Our temple held her deliverance service together and we did the same for him after his departure.
He was a gentle and witty, public-minded person with a big heart. 

 

We gathered our minds together for the service.

His family and the members of the temple gathered our sincere hearts together for his transition.
It was also Father's Day, and it was great not only for Robert, who is great but also for us to remind ourselves of the gratitude of our Fathers.

Rev. Inmyung's Dharma talk guided us to the Way of Birth and Death.

We chanted and read scriptures sincerely so that Robert could hear us.

The lunch offering from the family was delightful.

We shared a yummy lunch offering prepared by the host family and enjoyed Father's Day afternoon together. 

A relaxed family afternoon with beautiful kids.

Robert would hear our hearts, and go on his new great journey for sure.
